We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information on the QRystal website and the QRystal mobile application. We follow the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

- What we collect
• Account and contact details: Name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, order history and support communications.
• Memories: Photos and videos that you upload to create a Memory for a Pendant, along with the Pendant identifier and the link between a Pendant and an account. Memories are private by default and are only accessible when the Pendant is scanned and the correct PIN is entered.
• Device and usage data: Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, app and website activity, and basic diagnostics or crash logs.
• Payment information: Payments are processed by third party providers. We receive limited information such as your order number and payment status. We do not store full card numbers.
• Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies and similar tools to operate the website, remember preferences and understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work properly without them. - How we use information
We use personal information to create and manage accounts, process and deliver orders, provide and improve the App and Site including creating and serving your Memory, secure the services, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, provide customer support and send service communications such as order updates and changes to terms. With your consent, we may send marketing updates that you can unsubscribe from at any time. We do not use your Memories for advertising or marketing without your express consent. - Sharing information
We share personal information with service providers that help us operate the services, such as cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing, postage and customer support tools, as well as professional advisers and insurers. We may share information with authorities or third parties where required by law or to protect our rights or users. We require service providers to protect personal information and to use it only to provide their services to us. - International transfers
Personal information may be stored or processed on servers located in Australia or in other countries. Where we transfer information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in a way that is consistent with this Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles. - Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. This includes encryption in transit and at rest for Memories, access controls and regular updates to systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information. - Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the services and to comply with legal obligations. If you request account deletion, we will delete your account and associated Memories within a reasonable time subject to backups and legal requirements. Some records, such as tax invoices, may be kept for statutory periods. - Access and correction
You can access and update your account details in the App or by contacting Support. You may also request access to other personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. - Children
The services are intended for people who can lawfully use them. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review this Policy and consent to your use. - Your choices
You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message. You can request deletion of your account and Memories by contacting Support. - Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know through the App, the website or by email. Your continued use of the services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy. - Complaints and contact
