What is QRystal?
QRystal is a digital locket necklace brand based in Melbourne, Australia. Each QRystal necklace has a 925 sterling silver pendant with a micro-engraved QR code under a crystal lens that opens a private Memory of up to 20 photos and videos in the free QRystal app. Scan the pendant with your phone’s camera to open the app, then enter its 4-digit PIN. There are four designs, from A$169 to A$229.
Do I need the QRystal app?
Yes. The free QRystal app, for iPhone and Android, is how you create a Memory and how the pendant opens it. Scan the pendant with your phone’s camera to open the Memory in the app, then enter the 4-digit PIN. Download it from the App Store or Google Play.
How do I open a QRystal Memory?
Hold your QRystal pendant close to your phone’s camera to scan it; the front camera works best. The scan opens the QRystal app, where you enter the 4-digit PIN to open the Memory. At the very first scan, the PIN is set, and for a gift, the recipient sets it. An internet connection is needed.
How many photos and videos can a QRystal Memory hold?
Up to 20 photos and videos, plus a title and a message. You choose the order, and QRystal plays them as one short film, with the default background sound or in silence. You create the Memory in the free QRystal app, under My Products in your account. You can change it until the pendant is scanned for the first time.
Can I change my QRystal Memory later?
Yes, until the pendant is scanned for the first time. Log in to your dashboard to update the title and message on your piece. At the first scan, the Memory is sealed, like a love note placed inside a locket: after that it isn’t edited, added to or trimmed. If you made a mistake before the first scan, email support@qrystal.com.au and we’ll see what is possible.
How long are QRystal memories kept?
Forever. A QRystal Memory is stored permanently, with no expiry date, no subscription and no storage fees. The QR code engraved in the pendant never expires, so the Memory stays with you for life. It stays even if you change phones or delete your account, and it’s only deleted if you ask QRystal to delete it.
What happens to my memories if QRystal closes?
They stay. Under the QRystal Forever Promise, every Memory is kept forever, with no expiry date and no fees, and it stays available even if QRystal ever closes. Your pendant keeps opening it, so the photos and videos you carry stay with you for life.
Who can see my QRystal Memory?
A QRystal Memory is private. It opens only with the pendant and its 4-digit PIN, and the person who created it can also view it in their QRystal account. It’s never listed publicly or shared. QRystal does not use Memories for advertising or marketing without consent.
What if I forget my QRystal PIN?
Reset it in the QRystal app or with Support. If you added a reset email, use “Forgot my passcode” in the app. You can also contact Support at support@qrystal.com.au, and we will guide you through a secure PIN reset. We reply within 1 business day.
What happens if I lose my QRystal pendant?
Contact QRystal Support straight away at support@qrystal.com.au. Support can disable access from the lost pendant and help move your Memory to a replacement. In the meantime, your Memory stays private. It opens only with the pendant and its 4-digit PIN, and the person who created it can also view it in their QRystal account. We reply within 1 business day.
How does gifting a QRystal work?
You create the Memory and we ship the necklace straight to the person you’re gifting. Create it in the free QRystal app, from My Products in your account, and keep editing until their first scan. At their first scan, they set their own 4-digit PIN and the Memory is sealed. You can still view it in your account; you just can’t change it.
Can I return a QRystal if I’ve opened it or saved a Memory?
Yes. QRystal’s 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee covers your necklace in any condition for 30 days from delivery: opened, worn or with your Memory saved. Email support@qrystal.com.au with your order number and we’ll send you the return details. You’ll get a full refund to your original payment method. No questions asked.
What warranty does QRystal offer?
Every QRystal necklace comes with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults, from the day it’s delivered, plus the Lifetime QR Promise. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply in addition. QRystal’s Lifetime QR Promise: if your pendant’s QR code ever stops scanning through normal wear, we’ll replace the pendant free, move your Memory to the new one and switch off the old code, for as long as you own it.
How long does QRystal delivery take?
QRystal delivery usually takes 2–6 business days, depending on location. Order by 2pm AEST on a business day for same-day dispatch from Melbourne; otherwise, orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days. Every order ships with Australia Post, free Australia-wide, and you get a tracking email when it’s dispatched.
How much does a QRystal necklace cost?
QRystal necklaces cost from A$169 to A$229. Love Link is A$169, Gentle Heart A$189, MemoryShell A$199 and SoulGate A$229, and each design costs the same in silver or rose gold. Standard shipping is free Australia-wide. No subscription, no storage fees, no renewals. The price includes the pendant, your Memory and its storage, forever.
